The Secretariat of Ministry of Mines is headed by the Secretary having other officers like one Additional Secretary, three Joint Secretaries, one Joint Secretary & Financial Adviser common for Ministries of Coal, Ministry of Mines and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, one Economic Adviser, nine Directors / Deputy Secretaries, five Under Secretaries, in addition to a Joint Director and Assistant Director for Official Language, supported by Section Officers and other Staff.
