During the year 2009-10 (upto December, 2009), 56 complaints were received. After examination, 9 complaints were brought to their logical conclusion and 47 complaints are still under investigation. Vigilance Awareness Week was observed from 3-7 November, 2009 in the Ministry and also in PSUs and Subordinate Offices of Ministry of Mines.
